This month, we’re showcasing an elegant yet quirky piece of automotive history: Doug’s 1987 Jaguar XJS V12 Coupe. Doug has owned this Jaguar for little more than 24 hours, but its charm and character have already made it unforgettable.

Doug was drawn to this unique example of British engineering—a blend of luxury, power, and eccentricity. While the 5.3L V12 engine might not match the horsepower of his snowblower (his words!), this XJS offers something far rarer: personality and an unmatched driving experience.

With its Nimbus White exterior and Blue interior, this Jaguar stands out as a classic representation of 1980s design, especially the stylish flying buttresses. Doug adds a touch of humor to his ownership story, claiming the car has been recognized for being the “most towed” vehicle (just kidding, of course!). However, it’s the car’s rarity and originality that make it truly collectible—there might only be one other like it in North America.

This XJS has a special twist—a creative “eject button” hidden in the cigarette lighter socket. It’s these little details that set it apart from other classics on the road.

While Doug’s Jaguar may attract attention from collectors, he makes one thing clear: it’s not for sale.
